The 'holy grail' of bonsai carving tools is one that cuts ultra fine grooves in a clean smooth way and that's exactly what this fine toothed high speed steel cutter does.
The razor sharp feather edge will produce super fine grooves in dry seasoned or green wood. These become wider the deeper the tool is pressed into the wood. With practice this tool will produce beautiful split fissured and cracked grain effect that only needs a light wire brushing to finish it off. One of the best detail finishing tools we have seen in several years.

This tool has a 2.35mm diameter shaft. This size collet is supplied with most small powertools we are aware of. Do not use with a standard 3mm or 3.2mm (1/8") collet as the tool will vibrate badly.
Ensure this tool is mounted correctly and fully inserted in a well fitting 2.35mm collet. A worn collet or incorrect mounting will cause vibration from excess runout. This will reduce tool performance, mar your work and can result in a bent or damaged tool that is not covered by our warranty.
Always begin work with minimal speed to familiarise yourself with the tools cutting characteristics.
Until you are familiar with a cutting tools performance do not use inside deep holes where poor control can cause a tool to kick badly and result in damage.
DO NOT USE THIS TOOL IN DREMEL STYLE SCREW CHUCKS. Always use the correct sized collet/nut to mount this cutter.
