Dispatch Times

We work hard to get your order out as quickly as possible. Most parcels containing stock items leave our office within 24 hours (Monday to Friday) of receiving your order. Orders placed after mid-day may not ship until the end of the following day. Whilst we carry large volumes of stock it is inevitable that, due to demand, there will be occasions when we are awaiting shipment from our suppliers. Where an item is out of stock we may despatch the rest of your order and send on the other items when available at no extra cost to you. Despatch times can be longer during very busy periods like Christmas and early springtime. Orders are only delivered Monday to Friday. Saturday deliveries are no longer possible.

 

UK Parcel Deliveries

Orders are only delivered Monday to Friday. Saturday deliveries are no longer possible due to excessive cost and unreliability in some areas.

All U.K orders (except outlying areas) are shipped using a courier 24-hour (working day deliveries only) service. You will receive an email or text message detailing your parcel's tracking number and expected delivery day. On the day of delivery, you will receive a message giving you a 1-hour delivery window. If you need to make alternative arrangements your message will contain details of how to do this. You can have a parcel delivered to your work address, simply enter the details at our checkout screen when prompted. If it is not possible to leave the parcel a card will be left by the driver giving details of how to arrange an alternative delivery. It is strictly your responsibility to ensure this is done in a timely manner or your parcel could be returned to us. In this instance, we will not refund delivery charges.

Sometimes heavy orders are sent in multiple packages. If these get separated there is no need to contact us immediately, the courier will bring the balance of your order on a subsequent drop. If after 3 days you do not have all of your packages then do please feel free to contact us.

During busy times, like Christmas, or due to inclement weather, couriers are extremely busy and delays are possible. Please try to make allowances and order promptly to ensure your parcel arrives in plenty of time. Where a despatched parcel is delayed we will not be held liable for circumstances beyond our control. In the rare event you have to contact our couriers do please be polite and respectful. Not doing so will exasperate everyone and not resolve anything.

We may use a variety of providers to deliver your parcel as effectively as possible particularly if you're delivery is to an outlying area. These deliveries typically take longer to arrive.

International Orders

Shipping costs are normally worked out automatically for you depending upon the weight of your parcel/parcels and your country of residence. To see the cost of carriage simply place the items you require in the shopping cart and proceed to the checkout screen, enter your shipping destination and the total shipping cost will be shown.

Where an international order shows no shipping charge please contact us for a quote and we will endeavour to find you the lowest price possible.

For international orders up to 2Kg, we use the Royal Mail standard airmail service, this is not trackable and transit times will vary depending upon where you are in the world. On average for most parcels expect 2+ weeks (up to 6 weeks on occasions due to customs delays). Again if you need your order quickly or would like to upgrade to a faster trackable service please call or email to make other arrangements.

International orders over 2Kg are shipped using a trackable service. These parcels are often handed to different couriers on arrival at the country of destination and we cannot be held responsible for local delays or hold-ups imposed by customs. Any local customs or tax charges are strictly your responsibility. Should a parcel be returned to us by local customs FOR ANY REASON a refund will be issued for all goods received in sale-able condition. However, shipping charges including those imposed upon us for the return of the parcel WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. 

Urgent Orders, Saturday Deliveries, Timed deliveries

Our orders are despatched in date order only. We will not jump your order to the head of the queue, that's unfair to our other customers. Please ensure you order in good time so that what you need is there when you need it.

We do not offer Saturday deliveries though at busy times our carrier may choose to deliver over the weekend. This is at their discretion and beyond our control. Where your order is despatched by courier you will receive a 1-hour delivery window within which you need to be available to receive your goods. This will be notified by email or text message (so long as you provide us with the relevant details). We do not offer timed deliveries (ie; pre 9 am, pre 10 am or pre midday). These services are expensive and unreliable, therefore we no longer offer them as an option.
