Japanese Bonsai Cut Paste Sealant - Conifer - 500g

Japanese grey wound sealing paste for cuts on coniferous and thin barked bonsai trees. After making a cut push a little paste into the wound and spread out with the firm pressure of your thumb to seal. If dampened slightly with water a very thin secure seal can be achieved. In time the paste will be pushed out as the callous forms beneath.

This type of cut paste is used for slow-growing plant varieties, typically conifers, azaleas and other slow-growing varieties with thin bark. The product contains a hormone that promotes callous growth.

Seals the cut to prevent ingress of disease, fungi and water and prevents dehydration. Therefore the cut will heal much faster without problems.

Store in a cool dry place. The product will not go hard or dry out so long as the container is kept closed.
