Crassula obovata. Rarely seen as bonsai crassula make very good specimen bonsai of a larger size. Simplicity to care for crassula need very little water, especially over winter or fertiliser and thrive in semi shade or full sun. The heat of a conservatory in summer makes for an ideal home to this African native plant. Keep warm in winter with a minimum temperature of +5 Celcius and DO NOT over water. Prune very hard each spring crassula sprout easily and readily below any cuts. In summer branches can be shaped or repositioned easily by tying down, using loose wire or using peices of slim stick to space them out.
