Biogold Vital Japanese Natural Mineral Plant Vitaliser
The origins of Bio Gold date back to around 1970. Toshio Tsubaki, a doctor of agriculture who was heavily involved in the product's development, had been researching microorganisms related to plant growth for over 10 years. However, the discovery of effective microorganisms did not go as expected, and during the days of struggle, he met Kazuo Yamaguchi (then Professor Emeritus at Ibaraki University), an authority on applied microbiology, through a book.
From there, the two began joint research, and in 1983, they finally discovered the bacteria (microorganisms) that became the source of Bio Gold. It was a product that allowed plants and soil microorganisms to draw out each other's strengths, improving the soil environment and promoting strong plant growth. Bio Gold was developed to take advantage of the functions of these microorganisms and make it easy for anyone to use.
The natural activator that would become Bio Gold was born. This product was later improved and evolved into "Classic Base Fertilizer" and "Bio Gold Vital." First released 1986 and in continual production ever since.
Bio Gold Vital is a natural activator that helps plants grow healthily and resist damage. It increases photosynthesis and basal metabolism, draws out the inherent power of plants, and increases resistance to external stress. It is carefully matured over time using a unique fermentation method, so there is no need to worry about damaging plants, and it is an activator suitable for all plants. Biogold Vital has no smell (because it is already fermented).
It can be used for all types of plant including bonsai of all varieties, roses, vegetables, fruit trees, orchids, cactus & succulents.
Usage:
Soaking the roots.
After trimming roots, soak the root ball in a 100x diluted solution (10ml per litre) for about 30 minutes. After that, plant it in well-drained soil and soak with the diluted solution again after potting for better results. It can also be used to promote rooting of cuttings or divisions, simply soak material prior to planting.
Foliar application.
Use a spray bottle or sprayer to wet the entire leaf with diluted solution.
Tips for application: It is effective to apply a fine mist, focusing on the underside of the leaves where it is easily absorbed. After spraying, water uptake will be active, so apply when the soil is moist.
Application time: In summer, in the cool morning or evening, and in winter, during the warm daytime. Avoid spraying before or after rain or on windy days.
Soil application.
Water diluted solution onto previously damped or moist soil. Using a fine rose watering can or sprayer apply liberally to the soil sufficient to wet the surface well. It is not necessary to completely soak the rootball in this instance.
Tips for application: For both potted plants and plants planted in the ground, spray when the soil is moist, such as after watering or after rain, so that the solution can penetrate throughout the plant and is more efficient.
Application time: During hot seasons, avoid midday if possible, and apply in the cooler hours of the morning or evening. In winter apply during the warm days.
Application frequency.
To maintain plants basic strength, apply this product regularly. Also, spray more frequently than usual during the early stages of growth, when the plant is exhausted from summer heat, or when disease is likely to occur. This is an "activated liquid" rather than a liquid fertilizer or pesticide. It does not contain sufficient fertilizer for growth. Please use Bio Gold fertilizer, which was developed together with this product. Use up to 1 week intervals as required.
Bottle cap measures 5ml. Add 2 of these to each litre of water.
