S-Te™ (Kyodama) Growing Medium - Bonsai Succulent Plant Alpine Soil

S-Te™ is a fired clay product with high porosity and a good CEC (cation exchange capacity) and excellent moisture holding capacity. The product has a very high mechanical integrity and is completely frost proof, this ensures that the granules do not break down, even after many years in the pot and so S-Te™ maintains a very high AFP (air filled porosity) this is vitally important to prevent root rot due to saturated conditions, especially in winter.

Following extensive tests we are very pleased to be able to offer this exceptional quality product which has become a firm favourite in U.K bonsai. Benefits include....

Manufactured from environmentally sustainable resources.
Carefully graded, consistent particle uniformity.
Almost entirely dust free when packaged.

2-5mm mesh graded to produce an approximate particle size close to this range.

10Kg pack size is approximately equivalent to 14.2 litres volume.

Very attractive colour, looks good in your bonsai pot.
Lasts indefinitely in the pot and can be re-used.
Good CEC (nutrient holding capacity).
