Graham's recommendations for use.
Only ever fertilise plants that are in active growth. Fertilising dormant plants or those that are not healthy or recently re-potted may cause damage to roots. Make sure the soil is lightly damp before application. Do not apply fertilisers to plants in a dehydrated or waterlogged condition. Best results will be seen if used in the early morning or evening. Regular light and diluted application is better than a heavy drench of strong solution.
