English Yew – Taxus Baccata

Collected 3 years previously from an abandoned quarry and re-potted after the first year this yew is ready for it’s first work. February 2006.

Eventually I settled on this as the future front of the Bonsai.

Still there is lots of development work to do and the carving can be improved but, after 2 days intensive work the tree will get a well deserved rest until winter 06.
