St Lucie Cherry  Bonsai Material
Latin name: Prunus mahaleb
Just perfect for cultivation as bonsai. Small bright green leaves, dense twigging, small white scented flowers and delicate fruit. The plant quickly develops a fine root system. New shoots break from anywhere on the trunk giving the chance to select branches for the future of the tree. Fully frost hardy in the U.K, treat just as you would a blackthorn or hawthorn. A superb subject for bonsai and simplicity itself to cultivate and develop as bonsai. Nice yellow autumn colour.

A nice little cherry ready for it's firast styling this winter.

23" tall from the top of it's bonsai pot. 19" wide overall. 9" diameter nebari

Planted in a plastic nursery pot.
