Our 1Kg rolls of Professional Copper wire are 99.9% pure copper wire that's heat treated in a protective atmosphere to control the annealing process. This ensures a soft pliable wire perfect for use in bonsai tree styling.
Copper wire hardens as it bends and offers superior holding capacity relative to its size compared to Aluminium Bonsai Wire.
The only wire used by Bonsai experts for Bonsai Trees that are being prepared for exhibition. With a little practice you will not go back to using aluminium. Economical in use as copper can be used at about half the calliper of aluminium to do the same job. Also bear in mind that once used and removed copper scrap can fetch nearly £10 a kg (as of early 2026) unlike aluminium which is only worth pennies for the same weight.
