A dense growing native wild rose species that has small cerise pink flowers. Small leaves and fine twigging when mature. Responds very well to hard pruning after summer flowering which helps keep the tree small.

This type of rose is more often grown as an accent plant with exposed roots than traditional bonsai. This is the first time we have seen such beautiful little rose bonsai. As they age the trunks develop beautiful flaking bark.
