This big old spruce is from the late Bill Brown's collection and by Graham's estimation has likely spent more than 30 years in a pot. Graham re-potted the tree this year and it's now absolutely packed with root again so, growing very strongly indeed. A beautiful and characterful tree with a big nebari, craggy bark and good branch structure. There's scope for a restyle that could easily reinvent this old soldier or you could just respect it's age and enjoy as it is. Trees like this come along very rarely, don't miss it!

27" tall overall. 38" wide overall. 8" diameter nebari.

Planted in a Japanese unglazed pot that has a couple of hairline cracks but is overall solid.
