We have been looking for a detail wood carving set for a very long while now. This beautifully crafted tool set proves persistence pays off.
Most wood carving kits are not much use for bonsai work, the tools are often awkward and clumsy having been designed for knocking holes in big blocks or planks of wood.
This beautiful hand crafted tool kit is a perfect fit for bonsai work. Firstly there is a well engineered walnut and brass handle with a beautiful shape that sits nicely in the hand. The interchangeable blades are locked into the heavy brass chuck with the supplied spanner and once tightened are extremely secure and will not move or pull out. Changing a blade takes seconds.
This kit includes NINE razor sharp blades and one spoon gouge. The blades are very high carbon steel hand finished to a razor edge, quite literally, right out of the box these blades will shave hair.
