Shipping Cost Increases
We are sorry to have to increase the prices of our delivery charges.
This is due to an increase in fuel duty surcharges and VAT (our shipping was previously VAT exempt). We have subsidized these charges to the best of our ability but unfortunately we cannot avoid increases. Kaizen Bonsai still have the most competitive delivery charges out there. We hope you will bear with us and rest assured that we constantly monitor our shipping costs and pass on savings to our customers wherever possible.

Delivery Information
We work hard to get your order out as quickly as possible. Most parcels containing stock items leave our office within 24 hours (Monday to Friday) of receiving your order. Whilst we carry large volumes of stock it is inevitable that, due to demand, there will be occasions when we are awaiting shipment from our suppliers. Where an item is out of stock we may despatch the rest of your order and send on the other items when available at no extra cost to you. Despatch times can be longer during very busy periods like Christmas and early spring time.


SMALL PARCELS
U.K orders up to 1 Kg in weight are despatched via the post office. This service is not trackable and will have a longer transit time than our courier services.

For international orders up to 2Kg we use the post office standard airmail service, again this is not trackable and transit times will vary.
 

LARGE PARCELS
U.K orders above 1Kg weight are shipped using a trackable courier service with a 48 hour transit time. You will receive an email from us detailing your parcels tracking number from which you can find out the expected delivery day and make arrangements accordingly. We can request a parcel be left in an outbuilding or similar but this is strictly at the drivers discretion as he is responsible for the parcel. You can also have a parcel delivered to your work address, simply enter the details at our checkout screen when prompted. If it is not possible to leave the parcel a card will be left by the driver giving details of how to arrange an alternative delivery. It is strictly your responsibility to ensure this is done in a timely manner or your parcel could be returned to us.
During busy times, like Christmas, or due to inclement weather couriers are extremely busy and delays are possible. Please try to make allowances and order promptly to ensure your parcel arrives in plenty of time.

International orders over 2Kg are shipped using a trackable service. These parcels are often handed to different couriers on arrival at the country of destination and we cannot be held responsible for local delays or hold ups imposed by customs. Any local customs or tax charges are strictly your responsibility. Should a parcel be returned to us by local customs FOR ANY REASON a refund will be issued for all goods received in sale-able condition. However shipping charges including those imposed upon us for the return of the parcel WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.


Shipping costs are normally worked out automatically for you depending upon the weight of your parcel/parcels and your country of residence. To see the cost of carriage simply place the items you require in the shopping cart and proceed to the checkout screen where the total shipping cost will be shown. For U.K orders over £100 and under 30Kg delivery is free, where the parcel exceeds 30Kg weight the first consignment is free.

Where an international order shows no shipping charge please contact us for a quote and we will endeavor to find you the lowest price possible.
 

Urgent Orders, Saturday Deliveries, Timed deliveries
Orders required urgently, for a Saturday delivery or where a specific delivery time is required please contact us on 0800 4580 672 and we will do our best to accommodate your request. These services will cost more than our standard deliveries.

 

Payment Information
All payments are handled through either WorldPay or Paypal.
Occasionally we will carry out detailed checks on purchases including random telephone verification. This is for your security as well as ours.
