Laburnum Flowering Bonsai Starter Tree
Laburnum, also known as a golden rain tree, is a native of southern Europe and has been cultivated in British gardens since 1500. Tolerant of most conditions laburnum is a simple and undemanding tree to cultivate and if fully frost hardy in all parts of the U.K. Deciduous, the
tree will look a little sparse in winter. Once the leaves appear the tree will take on a very attractive weeping form. Creating an open branch structure will show of the large hanging chains of bright yellow flowers once the tree begins to produce them. In order to encourage flower
production keep laburnum in full sun year round.
