An indispensable wood carving knife for cutting hollows and depressions as well as external shaping of all woods. This unassuming tool will also remove bark faster than power tools and without the mess.
Draw along the area to be stripped with firm fast strokes along the side of the blade. Removes clean cut strips of bark with amazing ease. A great all round carving tool for removing wood, thinning jins and clearing soft or rotten wood. Can also be used at repotting time to plane away the base of Bonsai trunks to encourage root flare or even to cut away very old compacted potting soil.
