Exclusive to Kaizen Bonsai is this 100% organic moisture retainer for use in pot culture of plants and trees. The light clean granuel is added to growing media at up to 100g per 40L where it will gently swell to retain up to eight times it's own weight in water. This is gradually released back to the plants roots as required. Unlike other 'moisture retaining' elements (ie peat, sphagnum moss, leaf mould) Aqualock™ will not impede the drainage that is so important to healthy bonsai. The product will remain active for 2-3 years. Contains 16 micro-elements, 17 amino acids, 4 vitamins and some cytokinins and carbohydrates to nourish and invigorate your trees.
